ELM Farm Country Park is a peaceful, attractively landscaped haven located in the Tendring Peninsula village of Thorpe-le-Soken. As part of the ‘Essex Sunshine Coast’ the area boasts one of the best climates and some of the lowest rainfall in the UK. The Park is family owned and managed. All holiday homes are exclusively ‘owner occupied’ and the park has a ‘community feel’. The village centre is a short walk away and boasts an impressive selection of restaurants, pubs and shops. Their continuing pledge to encourage park customers to enjoy Thorpe-le-Soken’s shops and facilities means that the Park does not have a club house, shop or other facility to interrupt the peace at Elm Farm.
Nearby attractions include Frinton-on-Sea, famous for its beach and greensward, seafront golf course, ‘Cricket Week’ and ‘Tennis Week’; Dedham Vale and Flatford Mill, immortalised by the painter Constable; the historic port of Harwich and Colchester Britain’s oldest recorded town. The Lifehouse spa and well-being resort is located directly opposite the park. The surrounding area is perfect for anyone who likes to play golf, tennis, or squash, go fishing – either freshwater or sea – sail, walk, cycle, explore history or perhaps, more importantly, relax!
