A mobile home or static caravan is designed to be able to be moved, but not towed.
A mobile home is built on a steel chassis in the factory and then transported to site, once the home is unloaded it is moved with a specially adapted 4×4 into position, usually onto a concrete slab. Once you have used your mobile home to the extent that you need it and is ready to be moved on, then as long as all the connections to services have been removed the home can be moved in the same way that it arrived onto site.
Homes can be sold many times over, so with dealers like us, we have homes come and go daily to their new owners.
We would always recommend that you use professional caravan transporters to undertake the task of moving the home for you, as they can tricky to maneuver and also are extremely heavy.
Our team can make recommendations for transport companies, but please note we only organise transport and siting services for home purchased or sold to us.
